HOBY NY Metro relies on volunteers and donations for its existence. Our committee of volunteers works tirelessly and selflessly throughout the year to plan the leadership seminar and raise funds to finance the event.

The cost for one student ambassador to attend HOBY is approximately $395, which covers the cost of all seminar materials, meals, and lodging for the entire 3-day leadership seminar.

Each year, we hope to recruit new student ambassadors from schools and neighborhoods that have yet to attend our leadership seminar. Your support allows us to reach out to these families and schools, and allow them to engage and partake in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
